Overview

Digimart is all in Japanese as it's designed mainly for Japanese users. However, we provide you some information on our site in English briefly here since we get quite a few inquiries in English from overseas.


What is Digimart ?

Digimart is the Japan's leading Musical Instrument Search Engine. Hundreds of musical instrument shops all over Japan are updating the shop and their stock information daily for users mainly living in Japan. Digimart is NOT real shop or EC site.


What Digimart can do for you ?

In this page, we will show you how to search the item you're looking for and how to locate the shop's contact information like email address. We also provide you a list of the registered shops handling international shipping.

*IMPORTANT* We do not contact or email the registered shops for you. Contacting shops for you is beyond our service.


How to search the certain item you want

 Enter the keyword (like fender usa, etc.) into a search box right below the top menu bar, then hit the orange button right next to a search box. Please see the image below.



 The search result will be displayed next on the same page. If there is no result found, you will see an red "!" icon on the page.


How to contact each shop that carries the item you'd like to buy

If you find the certain item you'd like to buy, you can send email to the shop. You will find the email address of the shop as instructed below. (The shop below is an example and doesn't exist)

 Scroll down the item's page and you will find a link to the shop that carries the item. Click the link and it will lead you to the shop's page.


 On the shop's page, there is the email address followed by the Telephone Number. You can send your inquiry to the shop via email. (The email address above is not a real shop's email address)


 When you email the shop, make sure you include the "ID Number" and "Brand Name" of the item you're inquiring about. You will find the ID Number on the item's page. The ID Number starts with the word "DS", followed by 8 digit number. Please see an example image below:



 You can include the ID number on the subject line of the email.


How to view all items in stock and newly listed items on the shop

You can also view all items in stock and newly lited items on certain shop that you're interested in. Please see the images below. (The shop below is an example and doesn't exist)

 Scroll down the item's page and you will find a link to the shop's page. Click the link and it will lead you to the shop's page.


 On the shop's page, there are four links on top of the page, right below the Shop Name. From the left, there are: Recomended Items, Newly Listed Items, All Items in Stock, and Sold Out Items.



Additional important information on registered shops of Digimart

  • Except the shops listed on this page, many other shops on Digimart may not ship outside of Japan unfortunately. However, we recommend you to contact the shop first to find out if they ship items internationally.
  • Not all shops return to your inquiry since they are doing business mainly to the customers in Japan, and some of them are not able to understand English. We apologize you for not able to help you in case they do not respond you. Please understand the situation.
  • Very few shops have only telephone number, no email address.
